Ayurveda

Ayurveda is the oldest medical knowledge of mankind and the source respectively the fundamental knowledge of the traditional medicine of the Chinese, the Tibetan, the Greek and others. The word Ayurveda derives from the Sanskrite and means knowledge of long life (ayus = long period and veda = knowledge). In Ayurveda healthiness does not only mean the absence of pain but also a spiritual and physical balance as well as a harmonic relationship with the environment. To meet this demand Ayurveda consists of:

- a practical philosophy

- rules for a balanced life style

- a natural medical science

Ayurveda is teaching that all phenomena including our bodies are composed of the five  elements Aether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. In the further development of this philosophy Ayurveda declares that whose five elements form themselves into three basic energies, the so-called "dosha" which are named Vata, Pitta and Kapha. These energies are in a dynamic, harmonic reciprocal effect with each other. Due to the free will of any human being one has the choice to keep this harmony or to create an unbalance.

According to Ayurveda every human being is a unique individual with an innate nature what Ayurveda calls "prakriti". This uniqueness is demanding from everyone to learn and develop a very individual lifestyle which fits his "prakriti" or nature. Beside the habits and life regulations the age as well as the clima and the seasons are taken into consideration.

As long as we keep our prakriti in balance through a correct practical philosophy and lifestyle we are healthy and don`t need any further medical science. But due to wrong thoughts, feelings, habits and actions this balance is disturbed and at first inner restlessness arises followed by discontent and later on as well the disease. For the solution of those problems Ayurveda offers a systematic medical science which uses only natural remedies such as herbs, oils, minerals, nutrition supplements etc. Thus, in Ayurveda healing means to recover the natural balance.

As explained in the latter, Ayurveda emphazises the high value of one`s own individual responsibility for the healthiness. Based on this our projects aim to teach and train interested people how to think and act preventively. Thus, our clients will be able to activate their own inner healer.

In cases where severe diseases have proceeded our agency offers the contact to the best Ayurvedic clinics and doctors located in Germany as well as in Europe.
